Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! We have so much to be thankful for. We had the pleasure of the blessing of our daughter who is now in the arms of Jesus. We have the blessing of our son who continues to delight and amaze us. I could go on and on about the many blessings in our lives. We hope that this Thanksgiving will be a time when all of us can give God praises for He is good.

We are very excited about the upcoming holidays. Of course you can imagine with this being Ryan's first Thanksgiving and first Christmas everything is very exciting. Tomorrow we are celebrating at home. We are looking forward to having a nice, peaceful time at home and anyone who shows up at our door will be more than welcome to join us. In the evening we will be decorating the house for Christmas as a start of new family tradition. We are excited to see Ryan's response to all the Christmas lights, smells and colors.

On to the update...
Ryan is doing well. He is 9 months old! He weighs 13 pounds. He moves all the time. He is beginning to show some interest in crawling, but he hasn't quite figured out how it all works. He is starting to eat real food. It was like a switch was turned on...one day he hated food (as evidenced by some of his expressions...see pictures) but then the other day we put a spoon to his mouth and he ate and then wanted more. He received his RSV and the flu shots last Thursday. He did well. He cried and cried and I thought the nurses were going to cry too, but he recovered quickly. The nurses at Dr. Reye's office are great. We love them. Well...there is probably more to say, but my little computer helper has lost all patience in helping me write this so I must go. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
