The last couple of days have been good days. I can't believe that Ryan has been home for a week already. This week has been a long week that has gone by in a flash. I can already tell a difference in just one weeks time. He has grown so much. The home health nurse came today and Ryan weighed 4 pounds 10 ounces. That is a gain of 3 ounces since Tuesday. He has started eating more. When we left the hospital his limit was 40-45 ml and he would rarely take as much as 45, and sometimes 40 was pushing it a little. For the last couple of days he has been eating 50 ml at times. He is so funny when it comes to his food. When he is hungry he looks like a little bird with his mouth open wide. If he could, I think he would stick his whole hand in his mouth. I've caught him on several occasions sucking his thumb. It's rather cute to see a little tiny hand with a little tiny thumb stuck in his mouth. Needless to say he likes to eat and waiting patiently for his bottle to warm is not on his agenda. And...what goes in one end must eventually come out the other. Today he had one of those poops that you just have to be proud of. It was all up the front, all up the back and coming out the sides. He acted like a new man after that. Today we had a few visitors to the house. Ryan "hammed it up" good for the girls. He smiled and showed those dimples. I think he's going to be a little lady's man.
