New Pictures Posted!
Everything has been going quite well. We are thoroughly enjoying having a cordless baby. It is so nice to be able to take Ryan just about everywhere without being tied to the oxygen tank. Now he can go outside to water the flowers, hang clothes on the line, walk around Wal-Mart in Mommy's arms, take the dogs outside.... Since Ryan is off the oxygen now we will be having his pictures made on Monday afternoon.
On Tuesday evening Ryan will be staying with his Grandma and Aunt Lizzy while Mommy takes a CPR class. If everything continues to go well I (mom) will be returning to nursing school. I have very mixed emotions about all of it. I want to return and finish something God started, but the idea of leaving Ryan, even if it is only 2 half days and 1 full day a week, is well...just awful. I am sure God will give me the peace I need in this situation. And...before you get too concerned we have an amazing person willing to watch Ryan while I'm gone. Please pray for us in this new step. Pray that I will know without a doubt what God desires in this situation and that Ryan does exceptionally well while I'm gone.
This Wednesday...is...a dreaded day. Ryan will be getting his immunizations. Again, please pray for us. Pray mostly that the nurse administers the immunizations with precision. I'm still having quite a hard time trusting the nurse.
As far as just normal baby stuff updates. Ryan is eating well. He doesn't tolerate the rice in his milk, so we've gone back to just pure milk. He is eating about 3 1/2 ounces each time he eats, and he eats about 6 or 7 times a day. He eats every 3 to 4 hours during the day. His gut troubles seem to be completely healed. He is passing gas and stools without any trouble at all. In fact, he can actually be quite loud. It is almost embarrassing at times (like in a fancy restaurant). Who would believe such a tiny baby can make such a loud noise. Some nights are great. Sometimes he will go 6 hours between feedings. Some nights are not so great, but that's okay too. He is smiling at us now. He notices when we walk in the room and will look in the direction of our voices. With a little help he is able to lift his head off the floor and look around too.
