Everything has been going just fine over the past several days. On Friday Ryan found his hand. I didn't get to see it, but Daddy said that Ryan was flailing and looking around and suddenly his hand came in front of his face. He stopped and you could tell he was intently focusing in on his hand. Daddy said it was really neat to see. Saturday was rather uneventful. However, the home health nurse came out for her last visit. Ryan weighed 4 pounds 13 ounces. We won't have anymore home health visits unless it becomes necessary. As of Sunday Ryan turned 15 weeks old and would be at 39 weeks gestation. Sunday was a rainy day, so we just laid around the house. On Monday we all went out to the cemetery and took some flowers out to Ryan's big sister's grave. It was nice to get out of the house for a short little while. On Monday night we decided to go to Grandma's house for dinner. It was Ryan's first time to go visiting his Grandma, and what's so exciting...he still has several more Grandmas and Grandpas to go visit!
Today Ryan went back to the Chiropractor. Everything went well with that appointment. We sure do like the doctor and his staff. We've heard (through the grapevine) that one of Ryan's NICU doctors also visits this doctor on occasion. Ryan has been eating very well today. After we got settled back at home this afternoon I laid Ryan in his cradle lengthwise, and when I returned to check on him he had managed to get himself crosswise in the cradle. His sister used to do that. He sure is cute.
