Ryan had a better day yesterday. He still had a number of his episodes, but not as many and not as low as the day before. He got a blood transfusion because his blood count was low. The doctor started him on another round of antibiotics for another infection in his lungs. Ryan is also getting reacquainted with the bili blanket because his jaundice level was elevated. He is being fed 9 ml every 3 hours. His ventilator is at a rate of 37 bpm, pressure of 19, and his oxygen needs were about 70% all day. Ryan and I did kangaroo care yesterday, and he did very well.
