Day 76
3 pounds 10 ounces!

Ryan had a really good day yesterday. It appears as though his problems the other day were related to being low on blood because after he got that blood he sure did perk up. He is still on 100% O2 at 1 L, but his oxygen setup is still the same. They have increased his feedings to 32 ml every 3 hours. He now gets 3 bottles a day! He is doing very well with his bottles. I actually got to feed him 2 times yesterday. He ate both of the bottles within the 30 minute time frame allowance. The only assistance I've been giving Ryan during his feedings is supporting his chin. They have taken Ryan off the MCT oil. Ryan is also doing well with temperature maintenance. He is still in the isolette, but they have the temperature turned down to almost room temperature. He is able to maintain his temperature within a normal range most of the time with only clothes on and a blanket wrap.

Ryan is currently on Phenobarb, Caffeine (yesterday he took the caffeine by mouth and did well!), PolyVisol (vitamins), and albuterol breathing treatments.
